Kirk Traditions

The Kirk conducts special services throughout the year including Youth Sunday, when our youth lead the service. On Scout Sunday, our Kirk sponsored Boy Scouts participate in the service.

During the summer there are one or two outdoor services on the Kirk lawn followed by a picnic lunch. Each spring the Kirk celebrates the anniversary of the 1961 founding of our congregation. This year we celebrated fifty years of Life, Ministry and Mission of the Kirk. We honor our members who served in the military each November.

We also celebrate graduations and confirmations. Special luncheons are held for milestones in the lives of members. Connecting, sharing and supporting each other are vibrant parts of our ministry.”
