Sacraments

		The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. The bread expresses the unity of the body of Christ and the cup signifies the shed blood of Christ poured out for the world. Church Elders or Deacons, past or present, serve the congregation.
		The Sacrament of Holy Baptism is arranged with the minister. Baptism is the foundational recognition of Christian commitment. We baptize both children and adults. Parents promise to raise their children in faith and to encourage them to confirm their own faith as early teens. Adults being baptized profess their faith before God and the church.
